About Us
The Lions Center for the Blind – Oakland is a rehabilitation facility dedicated to serving the Blind and Vision Impaired Community of the East Bay.
The Center is open weekdays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Center is located at 3834 Opal Street, Oakland CA, 94609 in north Oakland.
- Opal Street runs parallel to Broadway and is two blocks west of Broadway.
- The 3800 block of Opal is located between 40th and 38th streets.
- Opal Street is located 6 blocks east of the Macarthur BART station. To get to the Lions Center by bus from the Macarthur BART board the eastbound 57 AC Transit bus on 40th Street. Get off at the Opal Street stop and walk south on Opal Street.
