When is the Lions Center open?

The Lions Center for the Blind - Oakland is open weekdays from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.

Where is the Center located?
The Lions Center is located at 3834 Opal Street in North Oakland between 40th Street and 38th Street.

Can I get a pair of eyeglasses from the Lions Center?
The Lions Center for the Blind - Oakland does not give out eyeglasses.
To inquire about receiving a pair of eyeglasses donated through the Lions Clubs International phone:

the Oakland Lions Sight Savers at 510-466-5927,

or the Berkeley Lions Sight Savers at 510-843-1228.

Can I get a hearing aid from the Center?
The Lions Center for the Blind – Oakland does not give out hearing aids.
To inquire about receiving a donated hearing aid, contact:

Does the Lions Center accept donations of eyeglasses and hearing aids?
Yes! The Lions Center for the Blind is a Lions Recycling Center.
Eyeglasses and hearing aids donated to the Center are re-distributed to those in need locally and Internationally by Lions volunteers and other non-profit organizations centered on optical and auditory missions.
