Donating to Help Others Every year the Lions Center for the Blind – Oakland provides thousands of lesson hours in rehabilitation and living skills training to hundreds of clients throughout the greater East Bay. The Lions Center relies on the support of the community to help meet the demand for services among the increasing population of blind and visually impaired. Any support is appreciated. Contributions in check form should be made payable to the Lions Center for the Blind-Oakland and mailed to: 3834 Opal Street Oakland CA 94609 The Lions Center for the Blind is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency. Neilson Fellowship Jesse N. Robinson Fellowship The fellowship awards are an honor given to persons for whom a monetary donation has been made by others to the Lions Center for the Blind - Oakland. The fellowships are awarded in recognition of meritorious and humanitarian efforts benefiting the blind community.
