May 30, 2011 -The Lions Center for the Blind has Moved.

The Lions Center for the Blind is pleased to announce that our center has relocated to downtown Oakland.

Situated on the Northwest corner of 21st and Broadway in the Uptown area of downtown Oakland, our new center is conveniently located 2 blocks North of both the 19th Street Bart station and the Uptown Transit Center which serves AC Transit lines 1, 1R, 11, 12, 18, 51A, 58L, 72, 72M, 72R, 800, 802, 805, 851 and NL. Parking is available in paid municipal lots within a short walking distance of our facility with the closest lots sitting directly across 21st next to the Paramount  and behind our building on the corner of 21st and Telegraph Avenue. We highly encourage our clients and visitors to utilize public transportation and/or paratransit when visiting the center as parking may be difficult to find at times.
